What is Bias?

In fashion, bias refers to the diagonal directions in a fabric compared to the warp and weft threads. Bias has the property of providing more elasticity and increasing the drape of the fabric. Woven fabric is more elastic and drapes more fluidly in the fabric's bias direction.
