Beaming

What is Beaming?

Beaming is a preparatory process in textile manufacturing where yarn is wound onto a large cylinder called a beam. The yarn is carefully wound in an organized manner to create a warp beam, which is later used in the weaving process. Beaming ensures the yarn is evenly tensioned, aligned, and ready for weaving, thereby reducing potential issues such as yarn breakage or uneven fabric appearance during weaving. Beaming can be done manually or using specialized machinery, depending on the scale and requirements of the textile production.
