What is an Avatar (3D-Design)?

An avatar refers to a virtual body used to design garments. Avatars are typically customizable so actual body measurements can be used during the modeling process. Pattern pieces can be draped onto the body of the avatar which gives a good impression of the look, feel and fit of the design.
