What is AMF Stitching?

AMF stitching, also known as pick stitch, is a type of top-stitch that is regularly used along the edges of lapels, pocket flaps or dividing seams. Traditionally, AMF stitching signalled custom-made tailoring. Today this type of stiching is mostly done by specialized machines and rarely by hand.
